It's Raining!

Tonight it rained here in good old Cedar City, so of course we had to go play in the rain! No matter how old you are, you are never too old to dance around campus in the rain. So for anyone who knows Cedar City, you know that the gutters are real deep for nights just like tonight. It is like a mini river flowing down the sidewalk! That makes puddle jumping a lot easier! We ran through the gutters, across the grass, and even through some sprinklers. Kaylee and I even layed down in the gutter (the boys were not as adventurous as us, however)! It was great fun that resulted in us looking like this:
Then of course we had to run around the building showing everyone how wet we were and hugging them! After showing more people, (and Taylor and Dylan showering, again not as tough as Kaylee and I) we headed out to get a nice cup of hot cocoa! Blasting the Lorax along the way made the trip even better!
Kaylee and I are super excited for this hot chocolate, probably because we were freezing!!
Dylan and Taylor are excited but not freezing because they showered first. I guess they just aren't as tough as us...
Yay for hot chocolate! P.S. you can totally see the waitresses reflection in the window! I think it's freaking hilarious!

I am now watching the lightning flash across the night sky through my window! It is just great! I love nights like this!

On a completely unrelated note, here is what I did with my weekend! First it started off bright and early Saturday morning with a softball tournament with the ward. 7:00 comes a lot earlier on a Saturday...I got hit with the ball twice creating a nice bruise on my leg and a nice internal bruise on my jaw! It was awesome and lots of fun! Went shopping (for clothes and food!), went to Cafe Rio (thanks Kaylee's dad!), watched Cadet Kelly, and hit my head on an open window due to an intense laughing fit! It was a long, but fun day! Sunday I got up early again and went to the Brigham City Temple Dedication. It was so good and I absolutely loved it! Then after brunch, Kaylee and I made nice little signs for Taylor and Dylan, because who doesn't love a nice sign! Took a nap, went to devotional (where Elder Doxey gave a great talk on Faith), ward prayer, and 1 minute brownies! Yay for the weekend, too bad it's now over and won't come around again for another 4 days....
Cafe Rio with Kaylee and Taylor!
Dylan came back! YAY! This is the sign we made for him!
Taylor's sign because we love him too! YAY!

So far, I have loved college. I have still missed my family and my home, but it is not as bad as I thought it would be! :D

A Weekend of fun!

This weekend was just a normal weekend that ended up being just so much fun! First on Friday, I had a hot date with Cafe Rio and Catching Fire. Then at around 8 I realized just how lame my Friday night was becoming, so I ventured out of my room and socialized! Down in the Lair a Just Dance party was going on! So we all joined in on the fun and spent the night dancing. Once quiet hours hit and we had to stop dancing, we were all to excited to go to sleep, so we ate Romen and tried dying our hair purple. At around 1 we went to watch Batman with some second floorers. I left at around 2 to check on my hair. The purple didn't stick so I went to bed. Saturday, as you well know, comes after Friday. Slept in Saturday, then went to brunch. Once we came back, my roommate, Miriam, rebleached by hair and then we dyed it pink! It stuck this time and I absolutely love it!!! Once I finished my hair, I got all ready for the football game against the New Mexico Highlanders. We creamed them 45-23, but whose counting? This football game was my first time going to a college game, as a student! It was so great! I am so glad that football has started up again! So once we beat New Mexico, we rushed back to the dorms to catch the last half of the Utah-BYU game. Which was FANTASTIC!! Such an intense game!! I am so glad that I was able to see this half! After a long fought battle, on both teams, Utah won! I was happy about that of course, but it was just so intense!
I am glad to be able to have spent this awesome weekend with some awesome new friends! :D
Just Dancing an Indian Dance with Laurel, Kaylee, and Miriam! We rocked it, nbd.
The first attempt of coloring the hair...still looks pretty cool!
Just a random picture of some cups that reminded me of a certain old man! Yes, that is a mini coca-cola cup next to a regular sized one! Gotta love Dollar Tree!
After bleaching round 2, before coloring!
All dolled up for the SUU football game! Showing my school spirit in multiply ways!
The after picture of my PINK hair!! :D So much fun!
The only picture I actually have of the U game, because I was not able to be there due to the 300 miles away issue! But my dad got to be able to present the game ball! Go daddy!
