A Week of Firsts

As you may know, I started college this week and along with that, my first time going to a college class! It was exciting and nerve racking! But I have not only made it through my first college class, I have made it through almost my first WHOLE week of classes! In that week I have gotten lots of free food (which is just fantastic)! I have also experienced my first college class being cancelled! Yes, that's right my Lifetime Development teacher cancelled class in  for those wishing to go home over Labor Day weekend more time to do so! YAY! Today I also found out that I only have to attend my Biology Lab every other week in order to allow more students to take the course! So all in all it has been a good first week of college!

Life on my own!

Well this week I embarked on a brand new adventure called COLLEGE! I have only experienced the moving out part and living on my own part, but come Monday I will experience the actual classes part! But as for now I am just enjoying the playing part of college! This weekend is called Flight school. It is like the orientation right before school where you get to know campus and all the other freshmen better! We have required speeches that we had to go to where motivational speakers talked to us about becoming a more unified campus. Today we also participated in Service Saturday. My group was involved in a food drive. So far my experience has been wonderful! I am excited to see what my future holds at SUU!

For my senior trip my parents took me to Chicago! It was so great getting to spend time with them before I moved out. Here are some of the highlights from the trip!

 Mom and I went on an amazing Segway Tour of the city! So much fun and so easy!
