It's been busy....

It has been a busy month, so sorry for making you wait! Finals week begins is this week and before I get too caught up in the stress of that, I thought I would update you all on this last month. It has mostly just been school and fun here at the dorms since I last posted, but I also got to go home for Thanksgiving break! It was great to be home and to spend time with my awesome family and friends! I also got to meet my new cousin baby Nate! It was great to be home and all that, but it was nice to return to school. It wasn't as hard coming back this time as it was last time! After thanksgiving there was only three weeks until the semester ended, which meant only three more weeks with two of the greatest guys. So of course we have had some more awesome adventures in those couple weeks! (Don't worry, I still focused on school Dad!) The first of these great adventures was the Yule Ball! EEEEK It was awesome and so fun! For those of you uncultured swine who don't know what the Yule Ball is, read Harry Potter! It's in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, but just read them all! So since this is from Harry Potter, you could either dress nice/formally or dress as your favorite Harry Potter character!!! My friends and I all dressed up as characters and looked awesome!!! I went as Bellatrix Lestrange, Kaylee was Hermione, Dylan was Draco, Taylor was Dobby, and Miriam was Professor Trelawny!!!! It was great and we looked awesome!!!!!!! That was on December 1, 2012. Last week we just hung out as usual, having late night talks in the stair well, going to get ice cream, "misunderstanding" each other about dinner...you know, the usual! This weekend was our last weekend all together before the break and before the boys move out. So, of course, we made it great! Friday night we went to the free gymnastics showcase, then went to an improv show from Off The Cuff. Since that only got done at midnight, we weren't tired so we went and played at Discovery Park until 1:00 am. Since we still weren't tired, we played cards in the elevator! It was fun! Saturday we started off the day by going to do baptizims for the dead at the St. George temple! It was a great way to start the day and spend time together! After the temple, we went to this trampoline place called Antigravity! That was fun, but we realized that we aren't as young or as in shape as we used to be...but we still had lots fun! We got back to Cedar around 4:45 and I took a quick power nap before dinner. After dinner and a quick Walmart trip, we went and saw A Christmas Carol on the Air that was put on my SUU. It was really good and pretty funny! When that was over we had hot chocolate and just hung out, watching SNL and getting henna tattoos! It was a fun day that I got to spend  with some of my greatest friends. I sure am going to miss them when they leave, but I am so happy that they have decided to serve the lord as full time missionaries! Picture time! Warning, these may seen random and insignificant, but they all came from fun memories so suck it up!
There was this random, awesome parade here in Cedar!!! We met Gingy!!!
Pedicures over the thanksgiving break! Thanks mom! It was great and so fun to spend time together!

I've Been Colored RAD

Last Saturday I had the opportunity to participate in my first 5K!!! It was exciting! A group of us from Cedar South Swag decided to all sign up for the Color Me Rad 5K in St. George on November 10th. We joined as a team and called ourselves the Cinnamon Gypsies! There were six of us who went and we had such a great time together! Kaylee and I walked most of the 5K, while the rest of the gypsies ran most of it, but we all ended up together and partied the day away....you know just throwing colored cornstarch chalk in each others faces like friends do! :) It was so fun and wonderful! To make it even better, I got to take a nice, long, hot shower after to get all the color off of me....because it takes a good couple of shampoos to get all that out of this thick curly jungle of hair! But enough chit-chat! It's picture time!!
Before the color....we were a little cold....but so EXCITED!!!
 Let's do this!!
 Yeah, we're RAD!
She got prematurely colored.....
 Our faces were caked....

Crazy Fun

This weekend was so much fun!!! After a lot of studying for my biology test that I had on Friday, it was well deserved. Friday night was the night of Halloween dances! Kaylee, Dylan, and I went to the Institute dance where we danced crazy and became forever alone....together!!! Then after the dance, we stayed up talking and hanging out until 3:00 a.m. At 3:00 we decided we were hungry so Taylor, Dylan, Laurel, Amy, Jordan, and I made a late night McDonald's run!!!!! Gotta love those! So I didn't end up going to bed until 4:30, but that's college I guess!! Saturday I slept in until about 11:30, which was fantastic!!!! Then we went to the last home football game of the season! It was fun hanging out with some awesome friends, taking turns hitting the cool drum! We won the game too, which made it even better!!! Then at 6:00ish Kaylee, Taylor, Dylan, Laurel, Chase, and I went to the Haunted Cave in Washington. It was fun, but went by really quick. We ended up going to another haunted house called Field of Screams! That one was a little more intense but went by pretty quick too. I had lots of fun at both! It was great! I didn't end up going to bed until about 1:30 last night so when 8:30 rolled around this morning, waking up was real hard.
Our new friend who was a little obsessed with Taylor....
The awesome drum from the football game!
 WE LOVE THOR!!!!!!
Kaylee and I all ready for the Halloween dance!
I'm a pro at tractor drivin!
I may or may not have gotten sunburned at the football game.....

The Perks of Being Home

IT'S FINALLY FALL BREAK!!!!! Which means that I am at home! That's right, at this moment I am sitting on the couch watching Friends! It is wonderful to sleep in my bed and shower in a shower that has a place to hide from the water...It has also been wonderful seeing my fantastic family! I have missed them so much the last 2 months! I love being able to hang out and chat with them! I also got to hang out with my best friends, whom I also hadn't seen in 2 months! Some other perks about being home is that ITS FREE!!!!!!!! I don't have to pay to do my laundry! It is so great not having to eat the same food day after day! Of course the food I've eaten wasn't free, but I didn't have to pay for it (gotta love them parents)!!!!! The food I've missed so much that's not in Cedar, tasted so good! Oh how I've missed Chick-Fil-A and Zupas!
I was able to spend lots of time with my awesome family, imediate and extended! It was so nice being able to see everyone and catch up! I also spent some time at Target today....now this doesn't seem like a big achievement, but there is not one in Cedar City so it was great!!!!!! Playing around in the Avengers masks, was pretty great too!
Captain America is pretty awesome!
This was all of us before we left Cedar on Friday....the trunk was kind of full....it shall be interesting tomorrow to see how well it fits tomorrow...we'll see how much stuff we all plan to bring back....  :)
I have missed this little puppy so much too! It was so great coming home and having her so excited to see me!!!
We had a fun FHE at Scheels!
 We are scary bears! Rawr!
The bears and my sisters are sooooooo scary!!!!
Being home has been so great and I wish I could stay longer, but unfortunately I must leave tomorrow....do not despair Sandy, I will be home in one month for Thanksgiving!!!!! Thanks for a great weekend family! I love you and will see you next month!!!!!
